Listening Stage
2022
Listening Stage held a few delicate gestures in a shared space to make room for collective listening.
Visitors were prompted to silently interact with the space, each other, and the traces of their movement across the floor.
The blending of the wall and the floor using a plaster incline was prompted by a line from Pauline Oliveros, “Walk so slowly that the bottoms of your feet become ears.”
We are living, breathing feedback loops -- walking around as living, breathing antennas, together.
